After 28 machines have been moved from the existing hall to the new production hall over the last few months, the chamber hardening system has recently been moved on too. Last week, three chamber hardening furnaces and a chamber washing system were moved and placed on their designated places in the heat treatment.
Here, not only the know-how of the colleagues from the maintenance department was required, but also a millimetre-precise work in transporting the furnaces. That was an absolute highlight! The equipment was moved within a record time of two days. Here goes a big thank you to all involved. With the move, SWG has not only doubled its heat treatment capacities, but was also able to consolidate the heat treatment department in one location.
